She integrates Zen Shiatsu with bio-energetic healing in the form of Shiatsu Healing to bring about deep healing and transformation.

Michelle has a diploma in Zen Shiatsu from the Devon School of Shiatsu (UK) and a diploma in Counselling from Sacred Space Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy (UK). She also has Certificates in Angelic Guidance, Australian Bush Flower Essences Practitioner Level 1, Mystic Rose Healing, Reiki I and II.

She has been interviewed on Primetime Morning on Channel News Asia, News Radio 93.8 and WKRZ 91.3 and has appeared in Time Out (April 2008) and Female (May 2008) magazines. She also conducts public talks on Shiatsu Healing and Human Potential.

Shi means finger and atsu means pressure. Shiatsu is a hands-on Japanese healing art that can help in a wide range of conditions from specific injuries to more general symptoms of poor health.

It is a deeply relaxing experience and regular sessions help to prevent and treat the build-up of stress in our daily lives.

It is a new name for the oldest form of medicine - healing with hands. Shiatsu uses hand pressure and manipulative techniques to adjust the body's physical structure and its natural inner energies, to help ward off illness, and maintain good health.

Zen Shiatsu combines Traditional Chinese Medicine which originated with ancient Taoist sages and traditional remedial massage.

NEXT TOPIC: Hearing The Messages From Within

This month in the Spirit Circle we will work with the waning moon and release negative self-limiting beliefs so that we can hear the messages from our inner spirit. 

Very often when we are faced with trying and challenging times in our lives, it is difficult to trust that everything will work out for the best. We react with fear, self doubt and tension rather than centre ourselves and try to find a peaceful place within to contact our spirit. We forget that our spirit has our best interests at heart, and it is our emotions that stop us from knowing this.

Our inner spirit always knows what the best direction for us to go in is, or what the best decision for us to make is. In this Spirit Circle we will release limiting beliefs and walk forward trusting that the Universe has a plan for us and if we can become still and have the courage to let go, this plan will unfold in the way that it’s meant to so that we can live a life of fulfillment and contentment.

REFLECTIONS

The cathedral of trees and the foundations of stone, are blessed by cooling winds and the chorus of seawaves.

Once again it is time for a change and after much soul searching, we have decided that our Spirit Circle needs to now evolve into the Sacred Circle. The first of our Sacred Circle events will be held outdoors in order to harness the powerful forces of nature and truly commune with the elements.

This chapter of Sacred Circle titled "Reflections", will bring us to Sisters' Island, one of the southern islands of Singapore. There, we will harness the healing and rejuvenative elemental forces in a triple circle group event. We will visit the traditional ways of how three different belief systems - Native American, Tibetan & Pagan - can align ourself to our true 'nature' and focus on cyclical topics of beginnings, happenings and endings.

There is nothing more appropriate when seeking to connect to the Divine, than to connect to the sacred spaces of Nature. A connection with Nature stays with you, and builds within you a sense of the spiritual nature of your life path. Over time, this connection enables you to develop a natural equilibrium and understanding of the deeper lessons of life. This greatly contributes towards you being able to live your best life. Living as we do in our urban lives, we forget that we are an integral part of nature, and that aligning to Nature allows us to find our centre and makes our lives easier and more balanced.

This workshop is an opportunity to bring you closer to Nature and cultivate a sense of the sacred essence of where we all came from. Working with basic tools like crystals, ribbons and ink, we will be inviting the four elements of air, water, earth and fire to help us to awaken our potential to work with them. So join us on this exciting adventure held in one of Singapore's little-known natural space and let your connection begin!
