| Shiatsu Healing |
Shi means finger and atsu means pressure. Shiatsu is a
hands-on Japanese healing art that can help in a wide
range of conditions from specific injuries to more general
symptoms of poor health.
It is a deeply relaxing experience and regular sessions help
to prevent and treat the build-up of stress in our daily lives.
It is a new name for the oldest form of medicine - healing
with hands. Shiatsu uses hand pressure and manipulative
techniques to adjust the body's physical structure and its
natural inner energies, to help ward off illness, and maintain
good health. |
 |
Zen Shiatsu combines Traditional Chinese Medicine which
originated with ancient Taoist sages and traditional remedial
massage.
Shiatsu Healing is a unique combination of Zen Shiatsu and
bio-energetic healing. It allows for direct contact with Ki
flow in energy channels (meridians) in the body to stimulate
the body's self-healing capacity and treats the underlying
cause of illness.
Conditions that benefit from Shiatsu Healing:
Asthma and Sinusitis
Anxiety and Depression
Digestive Problems
Headaches
Insomnia
Menstrual Problems
Muscular Tension
Neck and Shoulder Stiffness
Poor Circulation
Stress
By appointment only.

NEXT TOPIC: Returning to Balance
Easter or Ostara is usually celebrated at the end of March. This is a Celtic festival that honours the rebirth of Mother Nature. The purpose of observing Ostara is to align to balance through introspection. It is important for anyone practicing a spiritual life to take time out regularly to reflect upon your life.
Ostara is celebrated at the time of the Spring Equinox. The equinoxes are powerful times of magical rhythms and possibility. Meditation and rituals during this time are particularly effective. There is no better time to evaluate your life and turn things around.
Join us this month in the Spirit Circle and take stock of the emotions you have toward yourself, others and events in your life. By reviewing your current life, you can then create the space to find resolutions for any problems and return to a natural state of balance.
* Please note that we will start this month's Spirit circle at 8.30pm.
20 March 2010 (Saturday): 8.30pm - 9.30pm
$20 (1 hr)
NOTE: As the session is dependant on the attendance, the duration may extend itself. |
